Greetings, Art that encourages new thought, poses burning questions, and promotes impassioned discussion is vital to understanding the dynamic world in which we live. To this end, the Locus Theatre Company is committed to producing culturally significant theatre that stimulates community involvement and elicits self discovery for both the actor and audience. Locus is pleased to announce our upcoming production of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull on March 10 - 21, 2010, at the Gene Frankel Theatre in NYC's East Village, so save the date! Founded in 2006, Locus strives to produce engaging, high-quality theatre at the professional level. To help set the stage for another successful production, we have launched an ambitious campaign to raise $15,000 by January 31, 2010. We are reaching out to friends, family, and supporters to help realize the success of The Seagull, and hope you will join us. With non-profit status established through The Field, Locus Theatre Company donations are tax deductible.* theatrical experience affecting us all! Gift Levels Art’s Angel: $1000 and up: Receives 4 tickets; autographed poster; private talk back; recognition in playbill and Locus website. All but $120 is tax deductible. Benefactor: $250 - $999: Receives 2 tickets; autographed poster; recognition in playbill and Locus website. All but $70 is tax deductible.
